Cinefantastique: Logan’s Run

In-depth article on the making of “Logan’s Run” (1976), from Cinefantastique Vol. 5, Issue 2. Wallace A. Wyss chronicles the behind-the-scenes saga of this classic sci-fi movie. The usual snarky Cinefantastique attitude is on display, it was a magazine that had a love-hate relationship to the genre movies it covered. From novel to script, pre-production through post-production, this expose covers it all! The cover is graced by fantastic art by Vincent Di Fate, a Science Fiction Hall of Fame winner and chronicler of the genre (“Infinite worlds”, 1997).

If you love 1970’s sci-fi, you’ll love the Galaxy Astra series! Each book is meticulously designed to look like a classic 70’s paperback. Volume One (Paladin of the Crystal Planet) and Volume Two (The Creed of Fire) are available now!
